For the cake

  • Caramel.
  • 3 cups flour (540 g).
  • 2 cups of sugar (320 g).
  • 1 cup of oil (200 mL).
  • 3 medium eggs (180 g).
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (2.5 g).
  • 1 cup of chocolate powder (100 g).
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder (12 g).
  • 2 cups of boiling water (480 mL).

For the chocolate bath

  • 1/4 cup of butter (50 g).
  • 1/4 cup of water (50 mL).
  • 1 cup of impalpable sugar (200 g).
  • 1 spoonful of cocoa powder (10 g).

Preparation of the cake

  • Put the oven to preheat at 180ºC while you prepare the ingredients.
  • In a bowl, place the dry ingredients. That is, flour, chocolate powder, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Make a hole in the center and place the oil and eggs. Take the dry ingredients and stir them slowly with a wooden spoon.
  • As the dough needs more liquid, add boiling water until the mixture has a fluid and homogeneous consistency. Do not worry if you did not use all the water.
  • In a mold place butter and flour to prevent the cake from sticking. Pour the mixture and place in the oven at moderate heat.
  • After 45 minutes, click with a toothpick and check if it comes out clean; if so, the cake will be ready.
    Remove the cake from the mold and fill it with dulce de leche and add the chocolate bath.

Preparation of the chocolate bath

  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Mix them while you dissolve them in a water bath.
  • Once the mixture is ready, remove from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes at room temperature.
  • Little by little, cover the cake with the mixture.
  • If you like, you can decorate with nuts (in pieces or whole), raspberries or other berries, caramel, homemade jam, in short, whatever you like and have on hand.

Chocolate cake with frozen lemon

This chocolate cake recipe is ideal for the hottest days. It has a base of chocolate cookies (you can use stuffed cookies processed with melted butter) and a filling of a lemon foam.

  • 1 small lemon (20 g).
  • Grated lemon (20 g).
  • 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin (7 g).
  • 1 cup of milk cream (200 g).
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk (100 g).

For chocolate cream

  • 2 cups cream cheese (200 g).
  • 1 sachet of unflavored gelatin (7 g).
  • 2 cups of heavy cream (200 g).
  • 1 cup of chocolate powder (100 g).
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk (100 g).

 




For the base

  • 1 and 1/2 cup of melted butter (150 g).
  • 2 packages and 1/2 chocolate cookies (250 g).

Preparation

  • Process the chocolate cookies with melted butter and place it in a mold and put it in the refrigerator.
  • Hydrate the gelatin with the juice of a lemon for a few minutes.
  • Heat this juice in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir well. Mix with the 1/2 can of condensed milk.
  • Place the cream in a bowl and beat it until it is assembled.
  • Add the mixture of lemon juice and condensed milk and lemon zest. Stir them well.
  • Pour the lemon cream on the basis of processed cookies. Then place over this, a layer of chocolate cookies.
  • To prepare the chocolate cream, mix and beat the ingredients in a bowl. Pour over the layer of cookies.
  • Place the cake in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 3 hours.
