Staff Reporter, Jessore: The body of a schoolgirl named Nila Khatun, 16, was recovered from Jessore’s Manirampur. The daughter of Abdul Halim, a member of the ward (UP member) of six number (Arsanggi) ward of Kultia Union under Nila upazila. She is a tenth grade student of Bagdanga-Dahkula Secondary School.
Police recovered his body from his house on Thursday. The relatives claimed that they had committed suicide by climbing the house with a rope.
UP member Abdul Halim said, 4-5 days before his illness, his nephew died as Imran. Imran’s house is beside Bagdanga village. On Wednesday afternoon, the girl went to her sister’s house at Bagdanga village with her wife and left her in the house. When I returned home at night, the blue house hanging around the house.
But she could not confirm why the girl committed suicide.
However, a local source said, during the last Eid al-Azhar, fleeing from the blue house ran into a relative’s house in Dhaka. Parents take her home 4-5 days ago. There may be suicidal relations with this incident.
Manirampur police chief Mokarram Hossain said, “We received a complaint. The bodies were recovered in the morning. The body was sent to Jessore 250-bed General Hospital for autopsy.
